After I installed and ran AAUP I found that I am only getting 16 servers coming up in my AA browser when mates are getting over 200 servers, I have checked the filters and set them all to "ALL" but I still get only 16 servers....my favorites server list has no servers in it. Have you any advise for me?? 
Also, how does one reinstall the backup files AAUP makes if I need to do that?. 
(I am using AA 2.8.5 but when the aaup starts it tells me I am using 2.8.4.0)

This is what happened:
- The Windows registry contains a record made by the America's Army installer which contains the game version
- You most likely updated the game by downloading a zip file and overwriting the game files. This however does not adjust the registry key
- When using AAUP, it will determine your game version by reading that key.
So when you used AAUP to restore your game, it actually restored your game back to version 2.8.4.0.
However there is a very easy way to rectify this: http://k2-solutions.eu/forum/index.php?page=FaqDetail&category=1#question3If you follow the steps under "How do I update America's Army 2.x?", your game will be updated to the latest available 2.x version (which in this case is 2.8.5.0)
