Using Windows Vista or XP?
-
You can place the patch where you want, just don't put it inside the America's Army folder.
Are you getting any error message when trying to install the patch? -
Right click the AA installer and choose "Run as Administrator".
-
AALogReader.exe and AA_Utility_FileDownloader.exe
Which firewall are you using? -
The tracert indicates you can reach the server. If AAUP still doesn't work try to reinstall it and re-add it to the firewalls exception list.
-
Start -> run -> type: cmd -> type: tracert beta.k2-solutions.eu
Post output hereStart -> run -> type: cmd -> type: tracert 88.198.194.29
Post output here -
I just rebooted the server, see if it works now.
-
How long did you wait for it to start?
Make sure your firewall isn't blocking it. -
I emailed you earlier today about the fact that I activated your account manually. You do not need an account to use AAUP, accounts are only used on this site/forum.
Edit: if you are talking about your America's Army account and password, make sure to check your junk/spam email folders. For America's Army account support, head on over to the official AA forum: http://forum.americasarmy.com/viewforum.php?f=81
^',index.php?page=Thread&postID=216#post216]7.1GB on C: is much enough, I've had 3.2 and extracted the .cab files from the executive America's Army install archive by using winRAR to another hard disk, then it took ~2.3GB while and a few 100MB after the installaion on local drive C: after that I had to fix a few files by AAUP and repair the registry et voilà it works perfectly... Just another method to install, not that easy but uses less hard disk space on C:
Yeah the installer has 1 or 2 bugs that will prevent people from installing AA the easy way but yeah extracting the files manually using winrar will work as well.

Make sure your firewall ins't blocking America's Army. If you are using a wireless connection try to use a wired connection.
If all fails fill out a trouble ticket with Evenbalance (PB): http://www.punkbuster.com/trou…t/new_ticket.php?game=aao

Right click the AA installer and choose "Run as Administrator".

The official place for support is http://forum.americasarmy.com
This will work: America's Army Utility Package - Manual (last post in that thread) -
You are correct 7.1GB free space on C: is most likely not enough, try freeing up some more.
-
Installs from the site and AAUP are the same.
How much free space do you have on C:? -
Thanks for the feedback. Good to hear you find it helpful, all I can say is this isn't the last AA project I' m working on, there is still plenty of stuff planned for the feature.
AAUP will also receive periodic updates, the next major update is actually in beta testing right now ;). This update will greatly improve the repair functionality making it much more effective, it'll also include a new big feature and some small bug fixes. As soon as I can tell more I'll post it on the front page.

Looks like our email server (SMTP server) crashed after upgrading server software. Everything is back up now and I've resend your activation email. To download and use AAUP you currently do not need an account on this website/forum.

Please post the complete kick message.
