Can't make secured SSL/TLS-channel

  • Whenever I start up the America's Army Utility, I get an error saying it can't make a secured SSL/TLS channel.
I don't know where this error would come from, seems like it has got something to do with my home network, though I'm not sure.
Help would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance. :)

  • Actually it already gives the error whenever I startup the utility. When I try to login, it gives the same error.
I am right when I say that I have to login to the utility using the same information as the forum? Not that it has anything to do with the issue, as the problem even occurs before I try logging in. I was just asking to be sure.
The error's in dutch, but translated it says The request is turned down: Can't make secured SSL/TS channel. Screen below.

  • I assume this wasn't what I wanted to see? :P
If it is, could you point me out what I'm supposed to do after that, as all I get when opening one of those links is something similar to this:

  • The error message basically means that it can not connect to the webservice over a secure connection (https).

Since you can reach the webservice using firefox without any issues it could be a firewall issue or some other software on the network that's preventing aaup from connecting.

So I as well suspect it's something on the network you are on that's preventing it from connecting.

  • I'm sorry about the late reaction, I've been a little busy lately. I'll look into it, and try to figure out how I can make it work. I'll let you know something as soon as I get a result.
